Pure PvP Abyss Walker Build and Strategy Guide in Dragon Nest [T4]

Posted on 03:52 by nat
Credits: [Pvp-Guide] Abyss Walker & Light Fury Pvp Mini-Guide by melonee

Introduction:

The main purpose of this guide is to give you an idea of what a Bringer is capable of doing in PvP, help you build your own pure-PvP-build and maybe help you find one or two combo ideas.
I wouldn't really consider myself a "extremely good" let alone a "pro" pvp player, so don't expect the best and most creative combos in here.
Eventhough i do play group PvP from time to time i'm mainly a 1vs1 player, so my builds will obviously be inclinded towards 1vs1.
Abyss Walker:

As you probably already heared, Abyss Walker is currently pretty broken in PvP.
And yes, even without his summons he indeed is, so nerfs are just a matter of time.
Nevertheless you might still have some troubles at first, simply because most of his skills have a rather long casting time (at least compared to most other classes) and if you just spam skills randomly you might run out of skills to use pretty fast making you a easy target for your enemy.

- Pros (compared to Light Fury):
  • Easier to use than Light Fury
  • EX skills are PvP-oriented (Night Explosion's suction effect, Plasma Burst's "leftovers" and backflip possibility)
  • More damage on the most important pvp skills (due to the EX damage boost)

- Cons (compared to Light Fury):
  • Less ranged skills
  • Enemies can get out of Night Fall (= damage boost loss)
  • Weaker Ring Strike with smaller AoE
  • Weaker support (not really a big con since support skills suck in PvP anyway)

Skillbuild:

Note: A PvP-Build is something very subjective, so following this blindly without trying the skills out yourself beforhand is definitely not recommended.

This is my personal PvP-build i came up with after doing some damage tests, and it'll most likely change (at least on some parts) sooner or later.
Other people might be more comfortable with different builds which is perfectly fine aswell.
There is no "perfect build" especially not in PvP.
The remaining 5SP can be put into Plasma Burst, Shadow Focus (to make it 15+1).
Pact of Anja or Summon Shadow is possible aswell (but not really recommended)

Skills:

Assassin-Tree:

"Why Piercing Star and not Edged Fan?"

I'm not sure whether i really need to explain this but i'll do it anyway.
In my opinion Piercing Star is a way better choice compared to Edged Fan in PvP because of various reasons.
It has a wider range and it's easier to get "full hits" with it.

At lvl 6 you will be able to shoot two piercing stars right after eachother, at lvl 11 it's 3.
(Every star has a cooldown of 8seconds but compared to other skills you can "stack" them aka if you wait 8seconds you will be ablte to shoot one star, if you wait 16seconds two and after 24seconds 3. If you have 3 Stars "charged" and use one you will have to wait another 8seconds to be able to shoot 3 again (but you can still shoot the ramining 2 without waiting) etc.)

Piercing Star's range is INSANE. You can hit enemies on the other side of the map (provided you aimed right and they don't move out of the spot you aimed on). Which you wouldn't be able to do with Edged Fan.

It's flinch is pretty nice aswell making it a great range-combo starter or a nice skill to "keep enemies away" or to cancel their buffs.
If you shoot a second Piercing Star right after the first one, your enemy will get flinched by the first one and grounded by the second (ofc assuming he gets hit by both).

The damage is okay, one Piercing Star hits harder than both hits of an Archer's Twin Shot together.

The only downside is it's linear range and that it's rather hard to aim, which shouldn't be a problem for any experienced Archer-User.
And afterall it's still easier to hit with 3 Piercing Stars compared to get a nice amount of hits with Edged Fan in PvP.

Everything else in the Assassin-Tree is pretty much self-explanatory (and can be adjusted to fit your personal needs).

Bringer-Tree:

Light Fury Tree:

Outbreak can be a useful filler especially to continue your combo on grounded enemies once you're out of skills to use or to get close.

Everything else till Ring Strike is just prereq. to get Ring Strike.
Chakra of Energy is left at 1 just because the heal in PvP is awful and pretty much useless. (4% on lvl17)
And i didn't get HoC for the same reason, it's heal is pretty much useless (1.6% per pulse on lvl 13) (the time it'd take to heal you up to a reasonable amount is just way too long aka you won't use it too often in group pvp let alone in 1vs1 or ladder).

Ring Strike

A really good skill in pvp, nice damage and once you hit your enemy they're pretty much trapped inside of it.

I left it at lvl1 simply because the damage growth in PvP is just awful, in addition to that it's pretty hard to get alot of hits (you'll end up only hitting with the "last explosion" quite often).
The damage difference between a lvl1 and lvl11 Ring Strike is only 100 per hit, which isn't bad if you manage to get alot of hits often.
But compared to the damage growth of other skills you'd need to get at least 8Hits (mostly even more) just to get on par with the damage growth of those other skills with which it's easier to hit aswell.

Nevertheless Ring Strike is still a pretty awesome skill in PvP and a really good combo filler.
It hits ~600+ per Hit at lvl 1 which is good enough already (you can even get up to 20+ Hits).
Hence, investing more SP into it isn't really needed (+ a waste of potential damage since as i said, it's not easy to get alot of hits and even if you do, other skills which are easier to hit with have a better damage growth).

Ring of Energy

A pretty OP ultimate, super high SA (not even an acrobat's ED could cancel it) which makes up for it's long "charging time".
It also has a pretty long range and decent damage aswell and it's definitely better than Dark Conviction in PvP.

Can be left at 1.

- - - - - - - - - - -

Shared Tree

Spectral Gaze

Spectral Gaze is a really great skill in PvP. It's casting time is rather fast and it can launch enemies making it a nice combo starter and filler. It can also block them which might come in handy aswell.

Chakra Cure

Personally i believe you don't really need Chakra Cure in PvP.
It's useless against the two most signficant debuffs (aka Freeze and Time Stop) (never tested on Time Stop but i assume it works the same as when you're frozen, aka not at all)
Which COULD be a bug since you can use it when you're frozen, it just won't break the ice (eventhough the skill will get on cooldown).

The only time it is really useful is against clerics (to cure their annyoing electro crap) and MAYBE against bowmasters with high lvled bull's eye or other bringers to cure the darkburn.

You don't need it against most other debuffs (like burn, posion or frostbite).
Simpy because they're either not really significant or you just won't have enough time to use Chakra Cure "safely".
(Good luck trying to use chakra cure after an EL's forst wind without getting comboed, i rather tumble there tbh)

But SOMETIMES it could find it's uses (aka, after an EL's freezing field or when the EL is about to ignite/shatter etc.) or as mentioned against clerics, and for that it's enough on lvl1 imho.

It's up to you whether you want to max it or not but i believe keeping it on 1 is enough.

Bless of Anja

Bless of Anja is pretty OP in PvP. It boost your light and dark% by the same amount it does in PvE.
The only downsides are it's long cooldown (60seconds), the fact that it's easy to kill for your enemies and that it'll most likely be "softbanned".
(Personally i selfban it anyway, except against runners and people who play cheap themselves. And well ofc in group pvp and ladder)

Summon Shadow

Summon Shadow might be one of your best skills in PvE, that doesn't apply to PvP tho.
Instead of 2 you will only summon 1 shadow, it's not that hard to kill, the summon duration isn't long AND it's damage isn't great either.

It's not bad to distract your enemies etc. tho, but the duration is really short and i believe you could PvP just aswell without it.

It's up to you whether you want to get or not.

Pact of Anja

Your most OP summon in PvP, it deals insane damage and continuously spams your enemies.
Same downsides as Bless of Anja aka long cooldown, can be killed, most likely softbanned.
I'm pretty sure this will get a HP and probably damage nerf in future aswell.
Lvl1 is enough, the damage growth isn't really noticeable.

It only gets 11% more on lvl7 aswell so leaving it at 1 isn't a big loss.

- - - - - - - - - - -

Abyss Walker Tree

Illusion Strike

Unlike in PvE, this skills is AWESOME in PvP.
Long range, high damage, awesome flinch (it can cancel quite alot of skills and even ground enemies).
In addition to that it burns enemies (=even more damage and the possibilty to use Shadow Focus afterwards)  AND activates your 65passive (=you deal more damage after using it).

Pretty much a must-max skill for PvP imho.

Night Explosion

Night Explosion EX is awesome in PvP!
The suction effect pretty much disables enemies making it a great to combo opener. The damage isn't bad either and you will most likely spam it pretty often. It burns enemies aswell which again enables you to use Shadow Focus right afterwards.

The damage growth isn't really overwhelming but since i spam this skill pretty often and wouldn't know where else to put my SP i decided to up it.

It's up to you whether you want to max it or not you could keep it at 1 just for utility.

The explosion deals ~200+1.6k = ~1.8k on lvl 1 and ~400 + ~2.4k = ~2.4k on lvl 16
not sure how much each of the suction's hits hit but i think it's around 100 on lvl 1 and 200 on lvl 16

Lvl 1 for utility, max to squeeze out the most damage possible

Plasma Burst

Again, just a filler in PvE but a awesome skill for PvP.
It has a pretty nice range (especially if you use it after your double jump), iframes at the rising part (IIRC), you can jump backwards after landing and the damage isn't bad either.
Again a great combo opener and filler and a nice skill to avoid various skills, burns enemies aswell.

It's again up to you whether you want to max it or not.
Personally i chose to max it because i spam it alot and wouldn't know where else to put the SP either, you could keep it at 1 just for utility aswell.

The "explosion" / "landing hit" hits around 2.2k at lvl 1 and around 3.6k at lvl 16.

So again, Lvl 1 for utility, max to squeeze out the most damage possible

Shadow Focus

AND AGAIN! Just a underused filler in PvE, one of your best skills in PvP.
The damage is pretty nice (the first hit hits around 5.xk).
But the best thing is, it blinds enemies that are looking at you when you use it (their screen will be white for around 1-3seconds, never really counted for how long) and also launches/disables them, making them a easy target for your combo.

It doesn't hit grounded enemies so using spectral gaze or night explosion before Shadow Focus on grounded enemies is needed.

You could keep it at 1 just for utility, i prefer to max it for the damage.

Line of Darkness

Just as OP as it is in PvE. Don't really need to say anything.

Dark Conviction

The most uselesss ultimate in PvP i guess, it's really not easy to get alot of hits with it in PvP and every hit will only deal around 3k on lvl1, which isn't overwhelming for a ultimate.

Abyss Walker-Tree:

Night Fall

The only significant difference between lvl1 and lvl9 is the debuff.
It's a pretty nice skill in PvP especially since you can jump away after casting it (by pressing right click), the damage isn't bad either and in addition it even boosts your damage (by 13% on lvl 9)

Again up to you how high you get it.

Dark Incarnation

If you think a 4% dark boost for 10seconds with a 60second cooldown is useful you might wanna get it, other than that you can just ignore it like i did.

Gameplay:

Since Bringers have a bunch of combo possibilities i'll just write down some pretty basic combos pretty much everyone could come up with after a few PvP matches.
  • Piercing Star > Illusion Strike > > > Shadow Focus
Is a great start for the battle, epsecially for enemies that rush towards you.
If your enemy get hits by Piercing Star he'll get flinched, giving you enough time to hit him with Illusion Strike and burn, ground and already deal nice damage on him (while you're not even close yet).
If he tries to avoid it you can absue his movement or "wasted tumble" to have a easier time hitting with Illusion Strike.
Once you managed to hit him with even just one hit of Illusion Strike he'll be a great target to use Shadow Focus on. Which will blind and launch him and give you enough time to pull of a decent combo.
  • XYZ > Shadow Focus > Night Fall > Ring Strike > Line of Darkness
This is a very powerful combo that can be used after various opening moves, my favorites are:
Night Explosion
Illusion Strike (maybe followed up by spectral gaze in case he's grounded)
Plasma Burst + rightclick (to jump backwards)

Shadow Focus will disable the enemy giving you enough time to cast Night Fall.
Night Fall will deal damage and constantly hit him making it harder to escape while boosting your damage at the same time.
Ring Strike for the damage (especially nice cuz it's boosted by Night Fall)
And last but not least Line of Darkness to abuse the last seconds of the damage buff of Night Fall and make it hit even harder and to deal more damage to your enemy ofc.

You could use Line of Darkness first and follow up with a Ring Strike (especially if he manages to get out of Night Fall for example).

Instead of Shadow Focus you could also start off with Night Explosion followed by Night Fall aka:
  • Night Explosion > Night Fall > Ring Strike > Line of Darkness

Pure PvE Abyss Walker and Light Fury [Bringer] Build Guide in Dragon Nest [T4]

Posted on 02:59 by nat
Credits: [Guide] The Bringer (Light Fury & Abyss Walker Pve Guide) by melonee

It's a common misconception that all that Bringers do is meditate, which is not necessarily true most of the time.

Of course you will want to use Chakra Heal as much as possible but only doing that isn't only boring but also not the most efficient way of using your bringer.

But of course, it always depends on the circumstances (the number of people you're playing with, party lineup, how skilled and geared your fellow party members are, the length of dps windows etc.). You will just have to adjust the level of passivity/activity in your gameplay (aka how often and long you use HoC) according to that.

That alone makes the Bringer a very strategic and fun to play class.

No matter if Light Fury or Abyss Walker, the best way to play a Bringer is to play him mainy as a supporter for the party.
Eventhough both of them have excellent damage capabilities they should always prioritize support. The only time where an Abyss Walker can neglect supporting is when there's already a Light Fury in the party or if he's by far the strongest (or only) DPS class in a party, that and only that is the time where an Abyss Walker could prioritize his own DPS before party support.
But don't get me wrong , that by any means doesn't mean that you should neglect your own DPS completely!
You should just know when to DPS yourself and when to support your party members and boost their damage.
Bringer's (yes, even Light Fury's!) damage is insane after all.
But enough of that, let's go on to the skills

Skill Builds:

This applies to both.
Important note: Abyss Walkers should remove 2SP from Fake Log (the power-tumble) if they want to maximize the SP in their Bringer Tree (otherwise they can only use 118SP in the Bringer tree)
_________________________________________________________________________

DO NOT!!!! follow blindly and keep in mind that those builds are party-oriented.
But they are perfeclty fine for soloing aswell.

Light Fury:
You could lower Ring Strike to 11 and put the SP somewhere else (Chakra Energy for example), especially if you use Lgrade rings.

Abyss Walker:

Again keep in mind that this is a party-oriented build.
It's nevertheless still a very efficient build for soloing.
NOT for maximum self-DPS (but again, that's not needed nor recommended).
And again, you could lower Ring Strike if you use Lgrade rings.

Don't bother with the pre-LoD skills (Illusion Strike, Night Explosion, Plasma Burst and Shadow Focus) their damage just isn't good enough to invest SP into them. One Edged Fan can outdamage all 4 of them together even with 100% dark attack.
They are good enough as fillers but that's it.
And aside from that i personally don't get to use them really often anyway, not even when soloing.

If you however really want to (to squeeze out the most self-DPS possible for example), i believe Night Explsion is the best option, followed by Plasma Burst or Shadow Focus.
But they're really good enough fillers on 1 already.

Except you only solo all the time, it's definitely a better idea to invest SP into supporting skills instead, since that way you will be a really viable support-class for every party (that doesn't necessarily need alot of heals).

As for the Light Fury and Abyss Walker tree, just max everything.
_________________________________________________________________________

Assassin Tree:

Bringers do not need MP passives.
HoC can recover mp way faster and it's easy for Assassins to reach the 45SP limit without the passives anyway.

Other than that there's not much to say, the only skill you should care about is Edged Fan.
Investing SP in everything else is pretty much useless.

As i already said, if you are an Abyss Walker and want to maximize the SP in your Bringer tree you should remove 2SP from Fake Log, Light Furies don't have to worry about that.

Bringer Tree:

Light Fury Tree

Outbreak:
Great utility skill. Really useful to get close to bosses and mainly used to activate the 65passive on LF.
But the damage is not overwhelming and it's rather hard to get full hits, so maxing it is not recommended.

LF - lvl6 for the EX
AW - lvl1 for utility is enough

Chakra Energy:
Heals 2 (3 with EX) party members (including yourself) with the lowest HP% in the party.
Nice burst heal with short cooldown (15 seconds) and insane range. Also great for soloing.

In raids it's usually smarter to let the Priest heal (if your party have one that is) just because he can heal more than 2/3people and getting out of HoC just to heal 2/3people could reduce the damage of your party (no HoC damage buff) and lead to casualties (not only because of the missing HoC EX dmg reduction on LF), not to mention HoC will heal them aswell (slowly but it will).

lvl 1: 5.4% HP
lvl 13: 16.2% HP
lvl 17: 19.8% HP
lvl 18 (skillaccs.): 20.7% HP

It's based on each individual's HP.

LF&AW - It's up to you how high you get it.

Chakra Ring:
Increases moving speed by 50% and reduces damage taken (10% at lvl 1) inside the tunnel.
Great skill, can come in very useful.
1 is enough however since the only thing that changes is the damage reduction (only 25% at lvl 16).

Pressing right click while/after casting will make you dash forward, if you press shift + direction key while rushing you will teleport in that direction (can be abused for further range if you teleport close before you'd stop dashing).

LF&AW- lvl1 is enough.

Ring Strike:
One of your main damaging skills. Has iframes at the rising part and can be cancelled early by pressing space (which can be very important in emergny situations).
Great burst damage.

lvl 1: 122% +399 per hit
lvl 11: 184% + 10029 per hit
lvl 16 (skillaccs.): 214% +17834 per hit

LF&AW - lvl11 at least. lvl15 recommended, eventually with a +1 skill accessory if you don't plan to use Lgrade rings

Chakra Heal (HoC):
Bringer's signature-skill!
Meditate to recover HP,MP and boost attack (buff lasts for 2seconds) of everyone inside the AoE.
Your most useful, most wanted and used skill in a party. Max, no doubt.

lvl1: 1.1% HP and 5.4% MP per pulse, 25.2% attack increase.
lvl13: 3.2% HP and 16.2% MP per pulse, 46.8% attack increase.
lvl14 (skillaccs.): 3.4% HP and 17.1% MP per pulse, 48.6 attack increase.

It's based on every individual's HP/MP.

LF&AW - recommended to max for a support/raid/party-oriented build.

If you quickly summon your shadows after HoC-ing you can boost their damage.
If you get a Sunshine Spark action speed plate you will be able to boost it's damage with HoC EX aswell.

Ring of Energy (Ultimate):
Pretty much useless in PvE. Only needed to get access to Light Fury skills.
AW doesn't need bother with it at all.

Could find some uses in raids if your party members are far away but that shouldn't happen too often and priests (if your party has one) can take over then.
The AoE is pretty small and the duration is rather short, not to mention you have a damage reduction and cure function included in other skills already (namely HoC and Chakra Cure) and both are easier to use.
And in addition the damage is really crappy compared to the other ultimate aswell.

Left click: damage taken reduced by 70% and clears 10 debuffs
Right click: deal damage

lvl 1: 2427% + 8105
lvl 2: 2494% + 34145

LF - lvl1 to get your LF skills
AW - don't bother with it
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Abyss Walker Tree

Illusion Strike:
Bad damage and long casting time (if you want to get full hits). Really not worth to waste SP on this.
The only reason for Abyss Walkers to lvl this, is to get the EX.
Dark-burns mobs.
Mainly used to activate the 65passive on AW.
LF doesn't need to bother with it.

LF - lvl1, you won't use this at all anyway
AW - lvl6 for the EX is enough.

Night Explosion:
Great filler but still not good enough to waste sp on it. The damage on lvl1 is really good enough already aswell.
You won't use it too often either (not even with the EX) dark-burns mobs.

lvl 1: 469% + 169
lvl 16: 699% + 29775

LF - lvl1 as a filler-skill is enough.
AW - lvl1 for utility and as a filler-skill is enough.

Plasma Burst:
Again a nice filler and again not good enough to waste SP and again, deals decent damage on 1 already.

Increases your airtime and has iframes at the rising part (IIRC) which can come in very handy.
Dark-burns mobs.

Lvl 1: 340% + 230
Lvl 16: 569% + 34593

LF&AW - lvl1 for utility and as a filler-skill is enough.

Shadow Focus:
The Ignite/Shatter/Poison Break of Bringers.
Ignites dark-burned mobs and blinds them for 5seconds (doesn't change anything in PvE or at least i didn't notice anything) and again, not recommended to waste your SP here.

Lvl 1: 477% + 683
Lvl 11: 630% + 19871

LF&AW - lvl1 as a filler skill is enough.

Line of Darkness:
One of your main damaging skills. Great burst damage. Usually left at 11.
Max 2 rushes (3 with the EX)

every rush:
lvl 1: 781% + 2158
lvl 11: 1168% + 53242
lvl 13: 1209% +64027
lvl 14 (skillaccs.): 1230% +70105

LF&AW - lvl11 is enough.

Dark Conviction (Ultimate):
Another main damaging skill. Great burst damage. Hard to get full hits but still deals awesome damage.
Dark-burns mobs.

Every ball hits 125% of the board damage. Max.10 balls.
Lvl 1: 1389% + 4457
Lvl 2: 1426% + 18779

LF&AW - max, no doubt.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Other skills

Spectral Gaze: Don't bother with it in PvE. The duration is too short for it to be a reliable blocking skill.

Chakra Cure:
Cures 10debuffs. recommended to max for shorter cooldown (it's always good to have some curing skills)

lvl 1: 60sec. cooldown
lvl 10: 15sec. cooldown
lvl 11 (skillaccs.): 10sec. cooldown

LF&AW - recommended to max

Chakra Punch: Release a punch infront of you that can hit grounded enemies. Useless in PvE.

Blessing of Azuna:
Summon a Racoon that boosts your and your party's light and dark %.
The buff lasts for 30seconds and the racoon rebuffs every few seconds.
Unlimited summon duration but it can be killed so don't forget to resummon.

lvl 1: 4% light atk., 8% dark atk.
lvl 6: 14% light atk., 28% dark atk.
lvl 7 (skillaccs.): 16% light atk., 32% dark atk.

LF&AW - max!!!! skill accs. recommended.

Chakra Illusion:
Great for more mobility. 1 is enough

While rushing forward, press

Left click: To punch infront of you, hit enemies will be marked for 20seconds.100% phys. attack (all summons will always target marked enemies) marking usually isn't needed tho.

Shift + Direction Key (dodge): Teleport into that direction (you can rush forward and teleport at the end for further range, can be activated without rushing before aswell with dodge+space)

It's kinda tricky but you can activate the rushing part with dodge+space and then teleport at the end with dodge+space.

lvl1: 30sec. cooldown
lvl 10: 12sec. cooldown
lvl 11 (skillaccs.): 10sec. cooldown

LF&AW - lvl1 for utility is enough

Summon Shadow:
Summon two dark shadows. Another main damaging skill.

Lvl 1: Phys. attack 150%, 10sec. duration
Lvl 2: Phys. attack 200%, 15sec. duration

LF&AW - max!!!

-one shadow uses solely Outbreak and Ring Strike, while the other uses only Line of Darkness and Plasma Burst

Total skill casts in 15sec duration
Plasma Burst 3x (260% each, Dark)
Outbreak 4x (260% each, Light)
Line of Darkness 3x (400% each, Dark. The 3rd hit of LoD will NEVER connect)
Ring Strike 4x (183%*6 hits = 1098% each, Light)

Total = 1980% Dark damage + 5432% Light damage (You will VERY RARELY get full damage on those mobile bosses though, a lot of which exist at 70 cap. My calculations in actual combat usually gives me 5000+% total damage on average with fluctuations)

i.e.:
30k patk, 30% light, 35% dark
(19.8 * 30k patk) * 1.35 dark = 801900
(54.32 * 30k patk) * 1.3 light = 1629601
2431501 total damage

However, as noted by sieg it's hard to get full damage from the clones unless the boss is stationary. The same goes with the cat summon.

source: http://forum.mmosite...p5326c4699c2a65

Fact of Azuna:
Summon a Cat that helps you attack. Another main damaging skill, summon and forget (don't forget to resummon). Unlimited summon duration again and can be killed aswell. lvl 1 is enough, the damage growth just sucks.

Lvl 1: 443% + 637
Lvl 7: 557% + 1194

LF&AW - lvl1 is enough

total attacks in 30s
27 Slashes (100% skill amp)
2 Izuna Drops (100% of Board Damage)
2 Shurikens (250% of Board Damage)

Total Damage in 30s: 2700% + (7 * Board Damage), where Skill Board Damage = the one listed in skill tooltip.

i.e.:
30k patk
lv1 - 443% + 637
(2700%) + (3101% + 4459) = 5801% + 4459
(58.01 * 30k patk) + 4459 = 1744759 total damage

However, as noted by sieg it's hard to get full damage from the cat summon.

source: http://forum.mmosite...p5326c4699c2a65

Healing of Azuna:
Summon a Rabbit that heals you and your party.
The buff lasts for 10seconds, the bunny will rebuff every 5seconds and if you are buffed you will be healed every 2 seconds.
It's not too bad i guess but the board heal is low and you don't really need it since you have HoC for slow continuous healing and Chakra of Energy (and Chakra of Miracle as a LF) for burst heal.
You could get it if you have the SP for it, otherwise dropping it is fine aswell.

It's based on every individual's HP.

LF&AW - up to you if and how high you get it. Not necessarily needed at all.

Light Fury Tree:

Chakra of Miracle:
Best Bringer heal. Awesome burst healing skill with insane range that heals the entire party.
Max no doubt.
The only downside is the rather long cooldown and casting animation.

Heals 3times within 3seconds (1heal per second)

Every heal tick:
Lvl 1: 75% + 20250
Lvl 3: 121% + 42250

It's based on YOUR phys. atk. aka the higher your patk. the more you'll heal with this skill.

Sunshine Spark:
Great damaging skill with long range, long air time (which can be abused in raids) that debuffs mobs.
The debuff increases damage dealt by 20% and lasts for 10 seconds.
Can be used right out of HoC EX by left clicking. Max.

traveling damage (if it hits) = 5% per hit

Lvl 1: 1257% + 15648
Lvl 7: 1689% + 39641

If you get a Action Speed plate you can boost it's damage with HoC.

Outbreak EX:
30% more damage. Press right click to dodge backwards and leave a chakra ball behind that explodes.
The right click has iframes.
You will mainly use this skill to activate the lvl65 passive and to get close to bosses.

Chakra of Energy EX: Heal 3 instead of 2 people and buffs their movement speed by 50% for 2seconds.

Ring Strike EX: Increased damage by 30% and increased AoE. What more could you want?

Healing of Chakra EX:
Making our best supporting skill even more op with added damage taken reduction effect for everyone within the AoE. Damage taken reduced by 50%.

lvl 65 passive:
permanent +10% light atk.
When using Outbreak EX or Chakra of Miracle, phys. attack is increased by 10% for 10seconds.

Abyss Walker Tree:

Night Fall:
Creates an area of dark chakra, enemies within the AoE get damaged constantly and take more damage. Right click to dodge backwards after casting. Max.

10% initial cast damage, maximum 20hits

lvl 1: Every hit 121% + 1210,  Damage taken increased by 10%.
lvl 9: Every hit 173% + 4217,  Damage take increased by 26%.

Dark Incarnation:
Increase the dark% of the entire party for 30seconds.
The only downside is the long cooldown. Max.

lvl 1: 10% dark atk.
lvl 3: 20% dark atk.

Illusion Strike EX:
Shoot additional dark daggers to hit enemies. Every hit damage + 30%. Still a crap skill and only used to activate the 65 passive.

Left click to throw daggers in front
Right click to throw daggers around the caster (kinda like swift shot)

Apparently the left click has iframes.

Night Explosion EX:
Additional +30% explosion damage.
Added suction effect after the explosion. (kinda like gravity grenades or black hole). max 12 hits.
5% damage per hit

Not too bad i guess but still not worth investing SP on it. The suction is nice to gather trashmobs (if they survive the explosion or run into it afterwards)

Plasma Burst EX:
Leave behind a dark area on the ground after landing which deals additional +30% damage
(like magma wave ex)
Right click to dodge backwards after landing

Line of Darkness EX: Add another rush making it 3.

lvl65 passive:
permanent +10% dark atk.
When using Illusion Strike EX or Shadow Focus, phys. attack is increased by 10% for 10seconds.
General Gameplay

Of course this depends on the circumstances and your build but there are a few points a bringer will usually want and try to follow (especially when soloing).

Light Fury

  • Always have Bless of Anja and Pact of Anja summoned. If they die, resummon them.
  • Always try to activate your 65passive before summoning shadows and before using your main damaging skills (aka as much as possible)
  • Always try to use Sunshine Spark after summoning shadows to boost their damage, and try to abuse the debuff by using your main damaging skills aswell. Or right before a DPS-window and when your party members are about to use their hard hitting skills. In that case, don't forget to boost your party further by using HoC.
  • Use Healing of Chakra as much as possible, especially at the beginning of burst windows (in raids and nests) and once you run out of main damaging skills.
  • Eventhough it's usually better to let the Priest cure and heal (if your party has one), keep an eye on your party mates and always be ready to cure and heal them in emergency situations.
Abyss Walker
Exactly the same as Light Fury but:

  • Always have Bless of Anja and Pact of Anja summoned. If they die, resummon them.
  • Always try to activate your 65passive before summoning shadows and before using your main damaging skills (aka as much as possible)
  • Always try to use Incarnation of Darkness after summoning shadows to boost their damage and try to abuse the buff by using your main damaging skills aswell. Or right before a DPS-window and when your party members are about to use their hard hitting skills. In that case, don't forget to boost your party further by using HoC.
  • Always try to use Nightfall after summoning shadows to boost their damage, and try to abuse the debuff by using your main damaging skills aswell.
Except there's already a Light Fury in the party.
  • Eventhough it's usually better to let the Priest or Light Fury cure and heal (if your party has one), keep an eye on your party mates and always be ready to cure and heal them in emergency situations.
Sieg Said:

- Never channel Healing of Chakra for your summons unless you don't have any of Ring Strike / Line of Darkness / Dark Conviction. Channelling Healing of Chakra does surpass using your filler skills. (Only if you have maxed Healing of Chakra though...)
source: http://forum.mmosite...p530b0b9da9d589

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
So usually before burst windows (if possible) you would wanna use

Outbreak EX / Illusion Strike EX -> Summon Shadows -> Incarnation of Darkness (AW only obviously) -> Sunshine Spark / Nightfall (as soon as you can hit the mob, preferably before the actual burst window (if that's possible) ->(burst window starts here)-> HoC -(wait till your party members at least casted all their hardhitting skills )-> DC / LoD / RS

if that's not possible (for whatever reason) try to at least squeeze in a Sunshine Spark / Nightfall (+Incarnation of Darkness) before HoC-ing to provide a optimal damage boost for your party.
You could also try to squeeze in a Dark Conviction or LoD/RS before HoC-ing if there's enough time but usually it's a better idea to boost your party's dpsers first.
(note, the damage buff of HoC lasts for 2seconds, aka if you HoC for 5seconds your party will be buffed for 7seconds in total (5seconds while you're HoC-ing +2seconds once you go out of it and start damaging)

As a LF, skip HoC when soloing.
As a AW, skip HoC when soloing or when in a Party with a LF.

Equipment

First of all, this section is for Light Furies more than it is for Abyss Walkers.
There are various ways to use an Abyss Walker: Hence, there are various ways to gear it. You will just have to adjust your equipment according to your gameplay and role in a party.
If you're taken as a main supporter in your raid-party (aka taking over the LF spot) you should just gear it the way an LF would do.
If you're not taken as a main supporter, you should know what you're doing. Hence, how to gear your character.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

How to gear a Light Fury:

Yes you can deal top tier damage but does that mean you should gear your character to achieve the maxmimum damage output possible and neglect your survivability and support capability in the process?
The answer is easy: definitely NO.
As a Light Fury you are mainly taken for your support capabilities, not your DPS. (Just like how elestras, priests. etc are taken for their support) hence gearing your Light Fury as a pure DPS character would be just stupid.
Yes you would wanna get as much "free" FD and elem. atk as possible to increase your damage capability (when your damage is needed or for soloing) but getting alot patk. and especially hp and defenses should be your priority.
If you want to be a main-DPS, Light Fury is not the right pick for you but you should know that already so let's go on:

Just like any other assassin, Bringers are a STR and AGI based class, but in most cases it's a better idea to stack up on AGI since it will boost your CRIT. and crit resist. aswell, which STR won't.

As a Light Fury you should get as much HP and DEF. as possible first before worrying about your FD, light%,dark% and patk.

A dead support is no support and a support that dies easily is a bad support.

- Armor and Weapons:

Eventhough a 5piece Full Moon Set would grant you a (slightly) higher amount of FD it's recommended to go for a New Moon Set just because you only need 4 instead of 5 pieces to get the FD Bonus, enabling you to replace the upper body (or any other piece for that matter) for a unique/S-grade one in future without sacrificing the FD (or having to replace your entire set)

You could also use a combination of New and Full Moon (including weapons then) to get the as much PATK. from the set bonus as possible, which is a very viable option aswell (especially if you don't have alot of gold) and will increase the healing power of Chakra of Miracle (unlike the FD option).

As for weapons, 60Lgrades are obviously the best choice since they will not only grant you elemental attack but also a huge raw patk. boost and a nice FD set bonus.

If you however can't afford them 70A ladder weapons or Full Moon weapons would be your best pick.

So right now the best option would be

  • 5Piece New Moon or 5Piece Full Moon +60L weapons
a budget version would be

  • 4Piece New Moon + 3Piece Full Moon or 5Piece Full Moon + Ladder weapons
(if you plan to get 60L in future: 5Piece new/full moon + Ladder weapons or Fullmoon weapons)

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In the near future (aka once we get the Crescent Moon Set) the best option for a maximum amount of FD would obviously be:

  • 4/5 Piece Crescent Moon +60L weapons (and shoes/gloves if you go for the 4CM version)
followed by

  • 5 Piece New/Full Moon +60L weapons
followed by

  • 5Piece New/Full Moon + Ladder weapons
The last one does not only grant you the least amount of FD (= damage) but also the least amount of raw patk. making your Chakra of Miracle's heal power weaker.
Hence, you could go for a mix between Full and New Moon instead to improve your support capability (since you'll get more raw patk from the set bonus).

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
In the far future (once we get lvl70 unique/S-grade stuff) the best options would be:

  • 2 Piece Cresent Moon + 3 piece 70S + 60L weapons
followed by

  • 5Piece 70S +60L weapons
etc.

- Jades:

For your armor (and other blue "square"-ish shaped jade slots) the obvious choices will be VIT and AGI/STR jades (preferably AGI since it'll boost your crit. and crit. resist aswell).

For your weapons and rings (aka. all the red "oval"-ish shaped jade slots) you should definitely use PATK. jades.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Why you shouldn't use jades to stack elemental %

Stacking elemental % using jades is a stupid idea on Light Furies since you won't be able to boost 2 elements at the same time.
If you want to stack elemental %, using 60L weapons and rings is the best option.
Other than that you should just stack up raw patk.
ALL your damaging skills (including Edged Fan) and Chakra of Miracle will benefit from that.
Which is not the case if you would stack up on elemental % using jades.

If you only stack dark atk. you're losing damage on: Ring Strike EX, your Shadow’s Ring Strike and Outbreak and Sunshine Spark.

If you only stack light atk. you’re losing damage on: Line of Darkness, Dark Conviction, your Shadow's Line of Darkness and Plasma Burst and Pact of Anja.

As you can see, choosing to stack only light atk. or only dark atk. is very inefficient for Light Furies. And with jades, you won't be able to get a decent and equal amount on both.
Using PATK. jades on the other hand benefits everything, including Chakra of Miracle and Edged Fan, so getting raw patk jades instead of one element is a much better choice for bringers (especially for Light Furies).

- Accessories:

It's highly recommended for Light Furies to use skill accessories or a combination of skill accessories and Lgrade rings.

Necklace:

  • +1 Chakra of Miracle with either AGI or VIT.
Earrings:

  • +1 Bless of Anja again with either AGI or VIT, for additional +2% Light and +4% Dark.
or

  • +1 Chakra Cure with either AGI or VIT, which reduces the cooldown by 5seconds for a delicious cooldown of only 10seconds.
But personally i prefer the Bless of Anja one.

Rings:
Lgrade rings are definitely recommended, but skill rings are a very viable budget option aswell and in case you decide to go for skill accessories your choices should definitely be:

  • +1 Healing of Chakra with physical, light and dark attack, for additional +0.4% HP and +0.9%MP recovery per pulse and +1.8% attack increase. Doesn't sound like alot but since it's our best and most used support skill might aswell make it as powerful as possible.
  • +1 Ring Strike with physical, light and dark attack, to make it lvl16 and get a delicious damage boost. (Ofc only if your Ring Strike is on lvl15)
another viable option (especially if you don't have Ring Strike on lvl15)

  • +1 Chakra of Energy with physical, light and dark attack, for additional healing
other than that you should just go for Lgrade rings for delicious +8% light and dark atk, 4% patk and a nice HP boost.

- Skill Plates:

Light Fury

Bringers have many skills which would deserve a skill plate.
The main choices for a Light Fury should definitely be Ring Strike +DMG and Line of Darkness +DMG since they're two of your best and most spammed damaging skills.
Everything else is completely up to you.
(Underlined = Plates i'm using at the moment)

If you get a Sunshine Spark action speed plate you will be able to boost it's damage with HoC.
(Simply HoC -> left click (to cast Sunshine Spark))

Main choices:

  • Ring Strike +DMG
  • Line of Darkness +DMG
Other viable choices:

  • Chakra of Miracle -CD
  • Healing of Chakra +Speed
  • Sunshine Spark +Speed
  • Dark Conviction +DMG
  • Chakra of Energy +Healing%
  • Chakra of Energy -CD.
  • Chakra of Cure -CD
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Abyss Walker

For AW the main choices should be Line of Darkness +DMG and Incarnation of Darkness +Duration for obvious reasons. Ring Strike +DMG is a really nice option aswell as Night Fall +DMG or Dark Conviction +DMG, again because those are your strongest most spammed damaging skills.
(Underlined = Plates i'm using at the moment)

Main choices:
  • Line of Darkness +DMG
  • Incarnation of Darkness +Duration
Other viable choices:
  • Ring Strike +DMG
  • Dark Conviction +DMG

Abyss Walker or Light Fury: Which Bringer Class is Better in Dragon Nest

Posted on 20:22 by nat
Credits: Abyss Walker or Light Fury by melonee

Light Fury or Abyss Walker ?
I will only talk about the difference in raids since you can run normal nests and dungeons with pretty much any kind of lineup, especially if you and your party is experienced.

For unexperienced nest-parties a LF is obviously the better choice tho (it can even replace Priest).

I think the difference between those two should be pretty obvious:

Light Fury - way better support
Abyss Walker - slightly better damage capability

In raids, Light Fury is definitely the better choice.

If you would be to replace the Light Fury with an Abyss Walker, he would end up playing like a Light Fury would do (just because there is no way an Abyss Walker could outdamage a HoC-boosted party) at the cost of a extremely strong and party-wide burst-heal (Chakra of Mircale), a easier to apply damage buff (Sunshine Spark) and the missing -50% damage reduction of HoC EX, aka less efficient.

And all that just for a little more dark atk. from Incarnation of Darkness.

Yes, Abyss Walker could potentially outdamage the Light Fury but in reality he won't most of the time simply because he's bound to HoC as much as the LF would do (which is pretty important in raids and should definitely be done at least at the beginning of important burst and dps windows before you attempt to DPS yourself) and the damage difference between them isn't huge in general either.

I'm not aware of the frequency of deadly cure-able debuffs in BDN and whether freeze/timestop-kinds of debuffs exist in there, but if there aren't deadly cure-able debuffs that debuff you faster than every 10seconds and if there's no freeze/timestop-kind of debuff in BDN, a Light Fury could definitely replace a Priest in BDN (and other raids), even more so in experienced parties where people know how to dodge most of the stuff. Other than that LF-PRIEST is really strong support-combination for raids and they work pretty well together!

That definitely doesn't mean that an Abyss Walker is not a strong pick for raid parties tho.
He's still a really powerful DPS class and if there's already a Light Fury in the party he's definitely a good choice aswell. You just have to consider that he's then fighting for a DPS not support-semidps slot.

For dark parties (especially experienced dark parties): as long as you have a priest already, an Abyss Walker will definitely be a good choice aswell since he'll boost the dark atk. of the entire party further than a LF could do.

New Disassembling System Guide in Dragon Nest

Posted on 14:56 by nat
Credits: New Disassembling System Update by RimEdo

New disassembling system update

There will be a update where the disassembler will finally become useful. The following items can now be disassembled:
  • Talisman
  • Jades
  • Legendary Equipment

Enhanced equipment(epic and above)
Disassembling Talismans will give you Talisman Fragments, the type of fragments depends on the level of the talisman disassembled(like skill fragments.)
Disassembling Jades will give you Jade Fragments, the type of jade fragment(level) corresponds to the jade you disassembled. Disassembling a 60jade will give you lvl 60 jade fragment.
Dissassembling has a cost (1-2 gold per item)
Amount of fragments given depends on the grade of the talisman/jade (Low grade 1, intermediate 3 etc.)
Disassembling legendary equipment will give the corresponding L-grade corrupted scale, used to craft legendary equipment at blacksmith (SEA has this already so i will not elaborate)

Disassembling enhanced equipment will give you a random item from this list
  • Life Essences/Agates/Diamonds/Alteum (based on grade)
  • Gold (5-10% of the cost needed to reach the enhancement level)
  • Ultimate Awakening Heraldry (For 50S/L and below)
  • Ultimate Talisman (Only for 70A and above, the higher the enhancement level, the higher the chance)
  • Blessing Talismans (limited duration)

Best Dragon Jade System Guide in Dragon Nest

Posted on 14:47 by nat
Credits: Dragon Jade System Guide by RimEdo

The Blacksmith in Saint Haven will have a new quest that introduces Dragon Jade to you around Level 40. This quest will teach you all you need to know about Dragon Jades and allow you to choose one Low Grade Rare Jade as a reward. Some main and sub quests rewards have been changed to Dragon Jades.

Introduction to Dragon Jade System

Dragon Jades are items you can slot into your equipment to give them additional stats. A Dragon jade when slotted into your equipment, give two types of stats increase. One is a fixed increase and one is a percentage increase (a combination of suffix + potential)
Percentage increases will differ based on the rarity of the jade (Epic or Rare)
Fixed increases will differ based on the rarity, grade and level requirement of the jade.
Dragon Jades can be traded after being sealed, each jade only needs one seal. Maximum 5 seal times like all equipment.

Currently, There are three types of dragon jade in existence. However only two types of dragon jade have been released.

The two released Jades:

Blue Jade : Shape: Hexgonal, Color: Light Blue
Main Stats that it can enhance: STR, AGI, INT, HP, MP,

Red Jade: Shape: Oval, Color: Red
Main Stats that it can enhance: ATK, MATK, CRIT, ELE-ATK
Unreleased:
Yellow Jade: Shape: Triangular, Color: Yellow
This is known as the skill jade, it is rumored to give a suffix effect when slotted into the equipment.

Equipment Types and Slots

Different equipment types have different slots. You can only slot a dragon jade into the equipment if the slot has not yet been used. Below is the list of what slots each type of equipment has
  • Head, Top, Bottom, Glove, Shoes:  2 blue jade, 1 yellow jade
  • Weapons: 1 blue jade, 1 red jade, 1 yellow jade
  • Necklace and Earrings: 1 blue jade
  • Rings: 1 red jade

Each Dragon Jade will increase the stats of the equipment it is slotted into by a fixed amount and also apply a percentage increase. The same dragon jade might give different stats options. There are no such things as extra stats Dragon Jades.

Example: A Rare Lvl 60 Intermediate Grade Fire Enhancement Dragon Jade can either give:
Option 1: 4.55% fire attack, 105 matk
Option 2: 4.55% fire attack, 105 patk
Option 3: 4.55% fire attack, 56 patk and 56matk

Low and Intermediate Grade Dragon Jades can have up to 2-3 different options
High Grade Dragon Jades are rumored to have 35 or more different options. (Not released yet)

Example of a dragon jade
Level, Rarity, Types and Grades.

Like talisman, the amount of fixed stat increase differs between dragon jades based on the rarity, the level requirement and the grade of the jade. (Eg Lvl 70 can add 336 atk, but lvl 60 ones will only add 166)
However what you need to know is that the percentage differences are only based on the rarity and the differences are significant. Percentage increases work exactly the same way as potential.

Dragon Jades currently have a level requirement from 40-70, based on which level cap dungeon/nest it drops from.
e new Chaos Mode Dungeons.

Rarity and Types

Percentage increase difference between Rare and Epic

Rare:
  • Destruction: 2% PATK
  • Magician: 2% MATK
  • Bear: 2% STR
  • Wind: 2% AGI
  • Intellect: 1.6% INT
  • Health: 2.5% HP
  • ELE: 4.55% FIRE/DARK/WATER/LIGHT
  • CRIT: 8% critical

Epic
  • Destruction: 4% PATK
  • Magician: 4% MATK
  • Bear: 4% STR
  • Wind: 4% AGI
  • Intellect: 3.2% INT
  • Health: 5% HP
  • ELE: 8.05% FIRE/DARK/WATER/LIGHT
  • CRIT: 15%

Note: There are no Vitality or FD increasing jades. Def and Mdef jades are rumored to exist but not released yet

Slotting Dragon Jades

You can only slot and remove dragon jades from your equipment while in town.

To slot a dragon jade into your equipment, simply right click on the dragon jade in your inventory and the UI will appear. Then right click on the equipment that you want to slot the jade into and its done!
To remove the dragon jade from your equipment, simply Shift + right click the equipment you want to remove the dragon jade from and the dragon jade removal UI will appear. You than choose the dragon jade you want to remove and click remove.  It would cost a little amount of gold to remove the dragon jade which would than go back to your inventory.
How to get dragon jades

Drops:

Low Grade Jades can be obtained non-Abyss dungeons.
Intermediate Grade Jades can only be obtained from Abyss Dungeons
High Grade Jades must be crafted (Future content, works like Talisman Crafting)
Rare Jades drops from dungeons and chaos opening
Epic Jades are obtained from normal nests and future chaos mode of dungeons.
Shop:

You can exchange for Dragon Jade pouches at NPC shops, which give a random jade

Shop picture:
Comparison of Dragon Jades and Suffix/Potential

At first glance Dragon Jade might seem to give less stats than Suffix, but in actuality im sure you have realized that different types of equipment give different stats. (Eg Wind2 glove and Wind2 Top, the difference is huge). The thing about dragon jade is that now your glove will give as much stats as your top. So overall i think the stats given is the same.

However this is a big boost for sorceress and a nerf to clerics/warriors because Sorceress equips used to give the lowest suffix stats but now all classes will share the same stats.

However there is a percentage nerf (compensated by higher fixed increase), and you can no longer have % crit and % atk/matk on the same weapon, nor can you have ele% and matk% on the same weapon. Also there are no jades that increase vit%, so you might see a drop in max HP.

Dragon Jade Crafting

High-grade jades can only be gotten from crafting. All other ways of getting jades currently (PVP, dungeons, nest) only give up to intermediate grade. High Grade Jades have the same % increase as intermediate-grade jades, just better(in most cases) base stats.

Dragon Jade Crafting can be accessed from the Blacksmith.
To craft a jade, you need jade hearts and jade fragments and gold.
Jade fragments can be gotten from disassembling jades. See here.
Jade hearts are gotten from the Goddess Sigh exchange shop

Jade heart exchange:
Crafting jades is all about luck, as there is 2 layers of randomization.

You can choose between 2 options for crafting: Offense and Defense. You will be given a random type jade from the list based on the option you have chosen.

Offense:

PhyAttack/Matk/Critical/ElementAttack

Defense:

STR/AGI/INT/HP/MP

Crafting UI:
The next randomization:

Each type of high grade jade has up to 31 different options, each with varying amount of stats. They range from the base stat being weaker than intermediate jades and adding bad stats (Main Stat + Critical Resist + Stun Resist) to ultra rare options like (Lots of Main Stat + Vitality). Note: FD or Elemental Attack/Defense are not included in the stats randomized. Its all a game of luck. Your crafted jade could be worth a lot or just sold to the NPC...

I will not bother doing a list of stats as there are too many options involved. But based on memory i remember the most expensive high grade jades now being:

+954 VIT + 22k HP Life Jade.
+9XX STR/AGI/INT + 3XX VIT Wind/Bear/Wise Jade.
+10xx AGI Wind Jade

and than there are bad option jades like:

+ 3xx AGI +  89 attack + 5xx Stun Resist Wind Jade (note intermediate wind jade already gives 7xx AGI, so this is bad stats.

Skill Jades

Shape: Triangular
These are jades that can be gotten from hell mode only.(challenge nest for lvl 70). They act like the old suffix effects, activating when you use your skills. The effects for weapon jades (purple) will be to increase your attack/lower a certain def/resist of the enemy. Armors jades will recover health and increase a certain defense stat. This depends on the type of jade

Example of a skill jade:
Preliminary testing by CDN players have confirmed that the defense increase for armor jade stacks. Armor jades have a cooldown of 30seconds and weapon jade 60seconds. Unlike suffix, their chance of activating seems to be 100%, with only the cooldown preventing them from continuously activating. It is not known if SB/BT will lower these cooldowns.

Update: DNKR 220113(This might come to SEA immediately with 70cap)

Rare jades combined into one, added additional stats to compensate (no more low, intermediate, high)
Can be equipped while sealed
Can buy at Cassius Palace alliance shop

Epic Jades: Crafting changed, now you can select the stats you want (AGI, STR, HP etc) only the stats/options will be randomed.
Can buy epic jades bag from Cassius Alliance shop.
